Summative Task Part 1: Making Connections
Select one global environmental disaster or problem that has effected a SPECIFIC location in the world and then follow these steps:
Here are some ideas
1. Do some initial research on this disaster/problem and find out exactly how the environment has been damaged and how this has occurred.
2. Trace the cause of this environmental disaster event back to it's original source. What will be the long term consequences? Create a concept map on Spiderscribe that show the connections between this event, the environment, people and places. On your map you must include:

- detailed text notes which explain this disaster
- detailed text notes which explain the cause of this disaster
- detailed text notes which explain the impacts of this disaster
- 1 text note for each of the various stake holders connected to this environmental disaster, which summarises their different points of view
- text notes that outline solutions for individual and collective action
